PET POLICY

Some rules to improve coexistence

Dear guests,

At Apartamentos Michelangelo we are glad to welcome you with your pet. We understand that they are a part of the family and we hope that both you and your pet enjoy your stay here with us.

To maintain the coexistence with the rest of our guests, we request of the pet owners to follow these rules:

You can bring your pet with you with a limit of 2 pets per apartment.

Dogs and/or cats will be considered as pets for the apartments. Admittance of any other kind of pet is not guaranteed. For the lodging of any other kind of pets it is compulsory to contact the apartments in advance and they will be admitted or not in a case-by-case basis.

For the stay of the pet in the apartments, it is compulsory that upon check-in the pet owner vouches that they have their pet’s up-to-date insurance policy and their vaccination card as per Spanish law. It is also a requirement that the pet maintains a standard of cleanliness at all times.

In case that, upon arrival at the hotel any of the conditions for the admittance of the pet are not met and the reservation has to be cancelled because the pet cannot be admitted, this would not exempt from any cancellation fees that may be owed according to the cancellation policy of the reservation.

To maintain the good coexistence with others during your stay, it is compulsory that there is no barking, wailing and/or meowing. In case of complains because of any such instances or behaviours that cause an alteration in the order and tranquillity of the Apartments, the owner of the pet will have to leave the Apartments and the remaining nights of their stay will not be reimbursed.

To enjoy the Apartments’ premises, the pet must always be on a leash (and muzzle if necessary) or in an approved carrier. It is strictly forbidden for the pets to walk around the premises (both inside and outside areas of the hotel) without a leash.

When in the company of their pets, guests are forbidden from entering the swimming-pool. Apartment clothes (towels and or bed clothes) must never be used by the pet. Do not allow the pet to climb on to the beds, chairs, etc. If the pet is used to doing so, we request that the owner protects our furniture with a sheet of their own.

At all times the owner is responsible of their pet and of its behaviour. Any damage caused by the pet to third parties, furniture, equipment and facilities is its owner’s responsibility. The owner will have to take care of the corresponding compensations or expenses for the repairs, including cleaning out of the usual processes of the Apartments.

Remember that the apartment will not be cleaned while the pet is inside. When the pet is not in the apartment, please let our staff know so that the apartment may be cleaned. The cleaning has to be in the time period from 10:00 till 14:30. In case that the pet owner does not contact our staff, no cleaning of the apartment will be done. However, please bear in mind that if there is any incidence, the Apartments reserve the right to allow into the apartment the required staff to solve it.

Every owner of a pet must provide a mobile phone number and remain available so that they may be contacted when they are not in the apartment if the pet disturbs the other guests of the Apartments or if there is any problem involving the pet.

The apartments reserve the right to refuse admission to pets that cause a nuisance to other guests or behave inappropriately during their stay.

Only service animals or those belonging to security forces will have free access to all areas of the Apartments but only while they are performing their duties. They will also be required to comply with these to be allowed admittance: the service animal must have a visible identification of their status as service animal, they must not pose a danger to any guests and/or staff, they are required to maintain a standard of cleanliness and they must not have any illness.

In case you need it, from Monday to Friday a vet is available near the Apartments at Clinica Veterinaria Costa Blanca, Av. Jaime I, 33, their contact phone number is +34 965 85 59 49. In case of emergencies, Clinica Veterinaria del Mediterráneo is open 24 hours and has vet home service. Their address is Av. Del Mediterráneo, 25 and their contact phone number +34 965 86 80 09.

Come to Benidorm for a season without leaving anyone behind

Your pet must be kept on a leash at all times when leaving or entering the apartments.

Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool area.

The apartments reserve the right to refuse admission to pets that cause a nuisance to other guests or behave inappropriately during their stay.

Cleanliness and hygiene

We request that the following hygiene rules be followed

Any damage caused by the pet to third parties, furniture, equipment and facilities is the responsibility of the owner, who will be liable for the corresponding indemnities, compensation or expenses arising from repairs including cleaning outside the usual processes of the apartments.

At all times the client is responsible for his pet and its behaviour.

All pet owners must leave a mobile phone number so that they can be reached in their absence in case the animal is alone in the apartment and causes a nuisance to other guests in the apartments.

In the event of a complaint about barking or behaviour that disturbs the order and tranquillity of the apartments, the owner will have to leave the apartment and the outstanding services will not be reimbursed.

For the pet's stay in the apartments, it is essential that its hygiene is maintained at acceptable levels at all times, as well as having all the health certificates and corresponding up-to-date vaccinations at hand.

Please note that the apartment will not be cleaned while your pet is inside. When the animal is not in the apartment, please inform the staff of the apartments so that they can proceed to clean it within the timetable which is from 10:00 to 14:30.

Do not allow the animal to climb on beds, chairs, etc. And if it is customary, we ask that you protect our furniture with a sheet of your own.
